Emily provides administration support for the NEODAAS project, ensuring the service runs smoothly. She is responsible for processing incoming applications, arranging review and supporting communications between applicants and NEODAAS scientists. Emily meets with the NEODAAS team on a weekly basis to ensure open requests are progressing, and acts as a point of contact to ensure the services delivered meet the user’s needs.
Prior to working for Plymouth Marine Laboratory, Emily delivered strategic plans for net-zero and climate adaptation as part of the Devon Climate Emergency partnership. With a background in environmental humanities, Emily is interested in discourses of power, public need, and encounters with the natural environment.
