Role in NEODAAS

Nick is a developer for NEODAAS, creating new products to expand the capabilities of the service.

Biography

Nick followed a degree in Geography and a Masters in GIS and remote sensing with a PhD in remote sensing of supraglacial lakes on the Greenland Ice Sheet and their role in ice sheet dynamics. He then completed a postdoctoral position in innovative in-situ monitoring of marine-terminating glaciers before joining PML in 2015.

His main research interests are the use of Earth Observation data to study the changing cryosphere, particularly glacier hydrology and glacier dynamics, and to improve water quality measurements over inland waters.
